The Faint: Fasciinatiion
I got the promo Fasciinatiion CD in the mail last month and I’ve had a few listens and it’s been entertaining. It’s the kind of CD you’ll want to turn up in the car and your drive will be really great, but then a week later you may forget you ever had it.
My favorite songs are “The Geeks Were Right,” “Machine in the Ghost,” and “Fulcrum and Lever,” although I can’t get into them as much as I could the album Wet From Birth or the song “Agenda Suicide.” I should mention that I’m generally not a fan of electronic based bands, but they’re different from most (not boring?).
Back when I was keeping up with one times one, we got to interview Joel Peterson and Jacob Thiele of The Faint if you want to check them out – they were really cool and their label, Saddle Creek, is just the best! I also caught their live show at Cain’s in Tulsa a couple years ago and they do put on a great, energetic show!
