PHOENIX–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Leading global technology solutions provider Avnet (NASDAQ: AVT) today announced that Dayna Badhorn, a 23-year Avnet veteran, has been appointed America’s Regional President of Electronics Components, effective immediately . In his new role, Badhorn will oversee all activities related to Avnet’s electronic components activities in the Americas and manage the operations teams supporting the activities in the region.
Badhorn most recently served as Global Vice President, Strategic Planning and Corporate Marketing, where she worked in several global business units to identify growth opportunities to enhance Avnet’s overall business portfolio, financial strength. and its market value. She also oversaw the strategy, planning and development of Avnet’s global marketing initiatives.

Since joining Avnet in 1998, Badhorn has held leadership positions in sales, technical support, supplier management and business development. From 2016, she launched and supervised the Emerging Business teams of Avnet to find, assess and develop new profitable business opportunities, particularly in the field of startups. Previously, Badhorn was Vice President of Strategic Planning for Avnet’s global electronic components business, where she led the digital transformation initiative and several other global growth programs.

She was on CRN’s 2021 Channel Women’s List for her work in accelerating the channel’s growth.
