QU-YSC Announces Fifth Youth Research Forum

The Qatar University Young Scientists Center (QU-YSC) is organizing the fifth Youth Research Forum 2023 under the theme: “Higher Education Institutions and their Role in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals”. The forum is a place for young researchers from all over the world to meet and exchange experiences.
The center invites all undergraduate and postgraduate students from Qatar, the Gulf and international universities to participate in the forum on the theme of the forum: “Quality in higher education as one of the goals of sustainable development and a means of consolidating its concepts”.
The session deals with improving the quality of higher education in general and the privatization of the humanities as a means of consolidating the concepts of sustainable development. In this context, scholars are expected to submit research papers related to the following topics: The first is “Quality Topics of Higher Education and Its Achievement in Public Universities, Especially in Developing Countries”.
The second subject is “The theme of legal legislation aimed at consolidating the concepts of sustainable development and achieving its objectives:
This theme focuses on the role of law in consolidating the concepts of sustainable development and achieving desired goals. Research papers that meet the objectives of this theme will be accepted.
The third subject is: The theme of scientific research as a means of consolidating concepts and achieving the goals of sustainable development:
Higher education and scientific research being inseparable, we learn to research and we research to learn. This axis emphasizes the role of scientific research in higher education to consolidate the concepts of sustainable development among younger generations and use it as a means to achieve these goals.
The research title and an abstract of no more than 300 words must be submitted by October 16, along with CVs including communication information. Researchers will be notified if their abstract of research work is accepted or rejected for inclusion in the research forum in oral or poster form. The full research report or poster must be submitted by December 18 to be evaluated by the research committee.
QU-YSC successfully organized the third and fourth forums in 2021 and 2022, in collaboration with the Qatar National Committee for Education, Culture and Science. Professor Noora al-Thani, Director of QU-YSC, said: “Universities play the largest and most important role in the movement of scientific research and development, as they are the highest institutions of learning. and research. Qatar University has always been a pioneer in realizing important strategies and aspirations to ensure the progress of the country and benefit the world.
