Rochelle News-Leader | Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: June 24-27

OREGON – On June 24 at approximately 11:34 p.m., deputies carried out a traffic stop on Interstate 88 near mile marker 80. After investigating, deputies arrested Esteban Villazana-Cisneros, 18, of East Moline, for driving while his license was suspended. Villiazana-Cisneros also received citations for suspended registration and an equipment violation. Villiazana-Cisneros received an I-Bond on the spot with a return court date later next month. All subjects are presumed innocent.

At 3:36 p.m. on June 25, deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 20,000 block of East Illinois Route 64. After an investigation, deputies cited Khatia Edwards, 19, of Rockford, for driving with a suspended license, speeding and an expired registration. Edwards received an I-bond for his citations and was picked up from the scene.

On June 26 at approximately 8:40 p.m., deputies carried out a traffic stop near the intersection of East Illinois Route 72 and North Limestone Road. After an investigation, deputies arrested Roget Morris, 32, of Rockford, for driving while his license was suspended and an active Boone County warrant. Morris also received citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, child restraint violation and equipment violation. Morris was transported to Ogle County Jail, where she was held in lieu of bond. All subjects are presumed innocent.

On June 26 at approximately 11:53 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 20,000 block of East Illinois Route 64. After an investigation, deputies arrested Tommy Jones Jr., 34, of DeKalb, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Jones Jr. also received citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal window tinting and equipment violation. Jones Jr. was transported to Ogle County Jail, where he was held in lieu of bond. All subjects are presumed innocent.

At 6:19 p.m. on June 26, deputies were dispatched to the 10,000 block of Route 64 in western Illinois for a report of a domestic disturbance. Following the ensuing inquest, deputies arrested 19-year-old Brennden M. Harms of Polo on charges of domestic assault and breach of bail. Harms was transported to Ogle County Jail pending his first appearance before a judge. All subjects are presumed innocent.

On June 26 at approximately 5:11 a.m., deputies, along with Polo Fire and EMS, responded to a single-vehicle rollover on West Pines Road near the intersection with Lowell Park Road. After investigation, Allison T. Martinez, 26, of Milledgeville, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Martinez was also cited for misusing the lanes and for failing to reduce speed to avoid a crash. Martinez was taken to KSB Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Martinez was released on individual bond and given a future court date. All subjects are presumed innocent.

At 6:42 a.m. on June 26, deputies responded to the Casey General Store parking lot in Creston in reference to an unresponsive topic in a vehicle. After an investigation, deputies arrested Dante Contreras, 23, of DeKalb, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Contreras was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Contreras was also cited for expired registration. All subjects are presumed innocent. The assistants were assisted by Rochelle EMS.

On June 27 at approximately 8:57 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop on northbound Interstate 39 at Mile 108. After further investigation, deputies arrested Ilder Castillo, 41, of Hanover Park, for driving while his license was suspended. Castillo came out on an I-Bond onstage. All subjects are presumed innocent.
