Youth Research Officer job at Clarion Housing Group

Salary: £34,739 to £40,859 per annum prorated

Place of work: London – Corsica Street

Hours: Part-time – 25 hours per week

Type of contract: Fixed-term contract/Secondment until February 2023

We are recruiting a Youth Research Officer to join our team at Clarion Futures in London!

We are looking for an organized and committed individual to work alongside the Clarion Futures #iwill team to conduct research in line with youth social action themes and priorities.

About the role

As a Youth Research Manager, you will create, analyze and interpret data with the aim of creating reports that can inform the #iwill movement and the housing sector.

Other key responsibilities will include:-

  • Lead all monitoring and evaluation requirements for Clarion’s #iwill programs
  • Design and build high quality GDPR compliant surveys for young people and partner organizations
  • Framing youth social action research and analysis projects using mixed methods and broad stakeholder consultation
  • Create recommendations for the sector and wider stakeholders on youth priorities, with a focus on youth social action themes

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need experience analyzing complex administrative data and survey responses. You will also need extensive experience designing customer and stakeholder surveys, including understanding sampling frames and recruitment. We are looking for someone with meaning and interpretation skills when research results are inconclusive, you will need the ability to explain ideas clearly to a wide audience. You will demonstrate a consistent commitment to providing high quality customer service with a flexible approach to work and a positive attitude.
